Hello my name is Judy and this is my own Comfy Control Harness review. I have a wonderful dog, Muffin, at home and I like to take her out to go jogging at least once a day. Of course I let her out in the back yard more than once a day but as far as me taking the time to go jogging with her, I only do that once, maybe twice a day. Until I bought the comfy control harness, this wasn’t the case.

Before I had the Comfy Control Harness for my dog, I hated going on a walk with her. There are a couple of reasons why I didn’t like jogging or walking with Muffin. The main reason was because she would pull and pull on the leash the entire time we were walking. She would make a mad dash any time she saw a small animal like a squirrel, other people, or especially other dogs.

Being the brakes to hold her back from every single thing she saw got very tiring. I sent Muffin to an obedience school for a couple of weeks to try and change her behavior. It was costly but to me it was worth it because I figured she would stop pulling so much on the leash.

Muffin came home and she was well behaved in the home. She learned new tricks which was fun, but as soon as we went outside, she was on the run. Eventually I just let her play outside rather than going on walks.

The other thing that I didn’t like about other collars was that her throat would get severely pushed on by her old leashes and that has been known for actually causing a dog’s throat to get crushed and suffocate. I didn’t want to put my dog through that or me either.

I saw an ad on TV for the Comfy Control Harness and thought I would give it a try. On the commercial it said that it sends signals to the dog to not run or something along those lines. I figured I would try it and if it didn’t work I could get my money back and have lost nothing. It arrived a few days later and I gave it a go with my dog. I couldn’t believe that I had spent all that money on the training course and that didn’t work.

The Comfy Control Harness for some reason made Muffin not charge! I was shocked. There were a few instances where she began to charge but then the pull on the harness calmed her down. She is much happier now that she has the Comfy Control Harness.

It’s very easy to put on and is lightweight so she can still play freely. I love walking my dog now and don’t dread going out every day to give her and myself a bit of exercise. The Comfy Control Harness is the trick to making dogs and owners happy. Don’t spend hundreds or thousands on dog training courses so they can just teach tricks.

One of the biggest questions I had before I bout the Comfy Control Harness was; what size harness should I get for muffin? Luckily I found a good Comfy Control Harness sizing chart that shows all the different sizes they have.

The first thing I figured was the most important thing to do was measure the size of Muffin to see what kind of harness would fit her. I didn’t want to buy a harness, get in the mail, and put it on her only to find out that it wasn’t the right size. Then I would have to ship it back and request another size which may cost me more to ship it back and forth. It’s impossible to tell if a company will pay for shipping and handling for me unless they spell it out. The fault would have been mine anyway. So that’s why I measured Muffin precisely. All I did was took a piece of measuring tape I had for sewing and used it to measure her.

It didn’t take me long at all to measure Muffin and she’s definitely a medium sized dog. I was excited to order her new harness so she would stop running at everything she saw on our runs and walks. The only thing I didn’t like about the ordering the harness is that each size has a different price. It’s not like shirts or pants where it’s one price for any size. The price changes for each harness progressively as the size changes. Since Muffin is a medium sized dog I got her the medium sized harness. It was only $14 bucks.

I didn’t think the price was such a big deal because it only goes up 3 dollars per size. Obviously there is more material to use for each different size so it makes sense for them to up the price just a little bit. One thing I had forgotten about from the commercial I saw was that when I ordered one I got a second one free. None of my close friends or family have a dog so I ordered a second comfy control harness in medium in case I ever lost the one I had already ordered.

The other thing I forgot that they were going to include was a free leash and crazy critter toy. I have heard a lot of good things about the crazy critter toys. They squeak a lot so that dogs will love them. the way they are sewn and the cloth they use is very strong, so dogs don’t rip them apart as easily as other soft toys. Muffin loved getting the crazy critter toy. Wherever she goes she has it close by incase I want to play with her. It’s with her on her dog pillow, or in the living room when I’m watching TV.

When I read a few other Comfy Control Harness reviews I noticed that a lot of people said to make sure that I bought the correct size the first time. Some people tried to buy one size smaller because it would be a bit cheaper but then their dogs hated using the harness or it would be too restricting on the dogs.

One thing that I love about the Comfy Control Harness is that because it isn’t only around the neck, it doesn’t choke Muffin to death while we’re running or walking. If she does run at something it doesn’t hurt her neck but as well it somehow make her slow down and stop running.

The most importing thing is to get the Comfy Control Harness sizing correct the first time.
